7/5/2016 The organizers of the 2016 Miles for Meso Washington Memorial 5K would like to express our sincerest appology for the scoring problems we had on the 4th. The race results can be seen on Budu Racing’s website http://www.buduracing.com/raceresults/20160704_1369.pdf#view=Fit. We appreciate your support and concern for helping find a cure for this horrible disease, and hope we can run this event in the future without any glitches. Thank you for your support and understanding.

4/14/2016 See last year’s highlights at https://youtu.be/T7tkRlgn8VoYou have helped us make our Miles for Meso Washington Memorial 5K Run/Walk a big success. In 2012, we raised $15,215 for the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation. We topped that in 2013 with $17,398. In 2014, we raised $18,440.35.  Last year,  it was $16,000, bringing a total of $67,053.35 that you have given to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation. We are ever so grateful for your generous support of our memorial event and hope to see you again this 4th of July. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You!

4/15/2016  The registration fee is now $20.00 for adults until April 30th. If you are planning on running, please register as early as possible. This will give you a much better chance of receiving a T-Shirt in your size. We are grateful for your support. Patriotic costumes would be most appropriate. Show your spirit in RED, WHITE, and BLUE and we’ll see you on the 4th. For overflow parking at the Miles for Meso 5K at the Federal Way Community Center please use the school district lot around the corner or the city hall lot. Please take note that the price of registration goes up to $25.00 on April 30th and to $35.00 on June 24th. Register early and save.

6/17/16  Breakfast will not be pancake and sausage this year.  Instead we will have apples, bananas, bagels and cream cheese, muffins, orange juice, and coffee.  If you are not pre-registered, please arrive early since the registration table will close at 8:30 since your data has to be entered into the electronic timing program.  Again additional parking is available on S 333rd St. just west of the traffic circle at the Community Center at the City Hall or the Federal Way School District lots.  NW Sports Rehab will be at the center to address any of those nagging running injuries.  See you in a couple of weeks and thank you again for supporting our quest for a cure.
